Condor will continue its distribution partnership with Laudamotion until the end of April

Condor will continue to sell Laudamotion flights until the end of this month. The operational support will be handed over to Laudamotion in the next few months.

Frankfurt, 9 April 2018: Today the leisure airline Condor and Laudamotion have signed an agreement on the future of their further cooperation. After Condor helped the Austrian airline, Laudamotion to launch its business within a few weeks, the two airlines agreed today that Condor will continue to sell Laudamotion flights from Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Cologne, Zurich, Stuttgart, Basel and Vienna until the end of April. As part of this agreement, Condor will continue to provide the technology for the website Laudamotion.com, as well as various other distribution systems and sales support in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, to ensure optimum marketing of the flights, until the end of this month.

The operational functions, previously adopted by Condor – such as the provision of the traffic control centre, flight preparation and crew planning – will be handed over from Condor to Laudamotion in the next few months.

“In the interest of our customers, we will continue to provide sales support until the end of this month, “says Christoph Debus, Chief Airline Officer of the Thomas Cook Group. “We will concentrate on the growth of Condor / Thomas Cook Group Airline, especially in Germany.”

Guests who booked their Laudamotion flights via Condor, with a departure after May 1st 2018 will be contacted directly by Condor over the next few days. Customers who have booked their flight in a tour operator package are kindly requested to contact the respective tour operator.

The Thomas Cook Group Airline increased its fleet to 100 aircraft this year and is expected to fly nearly 20 million passengers on vacation. With additional aircraft, the airline will increase its capacity for the summer of 2018 by ten percent and will thus meet the increased demand for flights following the exit of Air Berlin / Niki in Germany and Monarch Airline in the UK.
